Getting a 7 in IB Maths Coursework

Getting a 7 in IB Maths Coursework

Are you a current IB student or IB teacher?

Do you want to learn the tips and tricks to produce excellent Mathematics coursework?

Gain the inside track on what makes a good coursework piece from an IB Maths Examiner as you learn all the skills necessary to produce something outstanding.  This course is written for current IB Mathematics students.  It is also excellent professional development for IB teachers who are new to the coursework process or who wish to develop their IA provision further.

There are several hours of video tutorial content as well as a number of multiple choice quizzes to aid understanding.  There are also a number of pdf downloads to support the lesson content.

The video tutorials will cover,
1) The tools required to pick an excellent topic,
2) Looking at how to gain a deep understanding of the criteria points,
3) Statistical techniques for the IA to demonstrate thorough understanding,
4) Modelling techniques for regression and non-calculator techniques for high quality models.
5) Comparing “good” versus “bad” examples of coursework.
6) Achieving a Level 7 – what you need to do to hit the top criteria levels.

Who is this course for?

IB Students (Applications, Analysis, both SL and HL)

IB Teachers

Is it necessary to enroll in a course for the IA?

The IA is worth 20% of the final mark and it is the part that many students neglect.  A good IA is invaluable for getting a good Maths grade.  I would say that it should be really useful!

Is it worth the cost?

I think so!  I’ve priced this at the cost of 1-2 hours private tuition, for that you can get lots of tips and tricks that many IB teachers don’t know.  Lots of students are let down by poor advice – so this is a good opportunity to ensure you are on the right track.
